Kristine & Matt's wedding at Niagara Falls Country Club in Lewiston was a family-centered day I will not forget. The obvious tone of family first was highly set by the presence of their two-month old baby, that I highly gushed over, and even photographed on Kristine’s wedding dress. See this was more of a delayed nuptials celebration, as Kristine and Matt where part of the COVID saga. They didn’t let the pandemic stop what meant most to them — starting their own family. So they had an outdoor minimony on the shores of Lake Ontario in 2020, followed by this bash here in 2021.
Matt was adorable to watch, as he couldn’t stop smiling at his baby girl and bride. Kristine was a serene queen, who effortlessly took care of her precious babe while enjoying every moment of what the day meant.
The heavily anticipated walk down the aisle, where I don't think there was a dry eye on the ceremony lawn overlooking the famous Western New York gorge. That also matched the gentle sprinkle of rain that began as she got up to her awaiting groom, just enough to make everyone chuckle rather than run for cover.
The epic reception that we had overlooking the Niagara River was a wedding photographer’s paradise. Capped by a sparkler sendoff, where a football tunnel of friends and family lit the night sky to fulfill my wedding photography heart, and spread warmth and spark to the couple for the rest of their years to come.
