Pro Tip: Live Streaming On Steroids 🎥
I know, I know. It’s weird to even think of doing. I know you want Aunt Karen from North Carolina actually at the ceremony versus her face on an iPad screen resting on a chair. But that’s not 2020, so let’s work with live streaming for guests that cannot attend. And let’s throw a little creativity in there as well.
Maybe give the virtual guests a treat by doing a behind-the-scenes of the groom getting ready, a special message from you the couple just to your virtual guests, or even a virtual photo booth so everyone can participate. That’s right, encourage them to dress up at home too! 👠
Send little “Don’t Open Until Wedding Day” care packages to your guests who had to get cut from the list, filled with toasting glasses and wrapped desserts. Live stream the toasts at the reception so they can laugh with the best man speech as well.
With all of this said, this is not just a Here You Go Job where you’re handing the iPad to a cousin to be in charge of Facebook Living. Cue an online nightmare. 😬 This is a job for a professional to handle, with professional equipment, and professional knowledge.
